Meet the Hair Artist

Hi I’m Melissa! Hair has always been my thing— I was always that kid who was doing my friends’ hair (and even won “Best Hair” in school.) My professional journey started back in 2012, and I’ve been obsessed ever since.

I specialize in grey blending, lived-in color, balayage, and textured cuts. Blended hair is my jam. I use a variety of products but mainly schwarzkopf, pravana, and redken.

Ask me about grey blending! It’s an ammonia-free, low maintenance way to embrace your natural “sparkles”.

I have 20+ chickens, 4 ducks, 80 plants, 3 dogs, and two human kiddos! In my spare time you can find me baking, reading, or working on some type of creative project.

I’ve lived in the Highland Park area of LA on and off for 10+ years. Post covid times I moved to the desert- and didn’t know a soul— besides my husband. I still miss the easy lifestyle of the desert but find our life tends to be busier here in LA!
